Announcing Concrete Solution to the Problem of Unemployment in the World

It is the desire of many to be gainfully employed, but unfortunately, the jobs are not there for everybody. We were told that way back in the 1960s, immediately one completed one’s primary education, high school or undergraduate programme in the university, jobs were there waiting for one. One even selected the kind of job one wished to do.

But things have changed. We have over the years witnessed population explosion in Nigeria and in other parts of the world. We are presently having more schools, colleges and universities, without having corresponding increases in employment opportunities.

According to Bureau of Statistics, over 65 million Nigerian youths are unemployed. We have 98 million youths in Nigeria and out of these 98 million youths, 65 millions of them are unemployed! This is alarming you might say. I agree with you. And you know what? This unemployment problem is not likely going to go away instantly.

An average Nigerian is considered unemployable. The labour market is saturated, discriminatory and harsh. Let a government or private establishment advertise 100 vacancies today and you will see hundreds of thousands of applicants troop out to apply for the few job vacancies.

Many people are getting frustrated day by day because of this problem of unemployment. Two incidents happened recently which made me to embark on thorough research and come up with concrete solution to the problem of unemployment.

The first incident occurred in mid May 2013, which news was reported that a graduate of a private university in Nigeria committed suicide because he could not get a job. The second incident occurred on or about May 30, 2013 (same month with the first incident, though in different states in Nigeria) in which Solid FM radio station Enugu reported that another man committed suicide after the transport company he was working for, sacked him.

As a motivational writer, these two tragic incidents are enough to make me restless concerning the problem of unemployment in Nigeria and to search for concrete solution to the problem.

After embarking on thorough and in depth research, I have come up with practical solution to the problem of unemployment in the world. My book titled: HOW TO BE SELF-EMPLOYED – Practical, Time-tested Principles that work for the Unemployed and the Wealth Seekers (Vol. 1), CODE: V1 is the product of the research I embarked upon.
